I'm not insulting anyone, and "always" ???? ... the fact that you find this cigarette case aesthetically pleasing it's your personal taste and you'll have to live with it.

The link I posted was to show you that this humped up cr@p is for sale on eBay 24/7 and over the years they flooded the market so much that even the prices went down, years ago the average price was around $500. And these cigarette cases are always from "Elite" units.

Back then there used to be artisan, today a crook with a dremel can make this kind of things on a daily basis. You can also check Germania International for more eye candies...

A unique item like this if even remotely possible to come by should have a bullet proof provenance... and even so It should be verified.

P.S. my father in law is Croatian, I asked him about the name and he said: NOPE.

I won't deal with them even if they sold solid gold for the price of copper. It's just my ethic, won't give money to scam artists not for good items let alone for maybes..

I am from Croatia so maybe you could shed some light on that family name -Lazar and why do most collectors seek perfection in every detail, for example the tk engraved on the cigarette box, should it have been as perfect as a Deschler tk, i have an original Zippo lighter from the Vietnam War with engravings from a 5'th SFG trooper and it looks far from the original sign and yet is an 100 % original
