Interesting to see how someone tries to learn something and thats what WAF is all about and that uniform oddities are shown and proven, ref the great thread with pictures of uniforms we would not want to have in our collection, but which did exist and its recreation or restoration after indept research by someone on WAF leads to someones comment that its all crap....And fooling around
Mmm wonder why. Read the threads first instead of looking at pictures only...You'll miss the point!
BTW: 90% of WH tunics are no longer original after 65 years, ref shoulderboards and resewn national insignia... no big fuss.

    ps JohnnyR : happy collecting
Ps2 NickG: keep up the good work, always find your digging into subjects very revealing so to speak! You are the

        More! Again Skanderbeg!
Note minty MP40 pouches! Almost makes you belive that these are reenactors, but its not the case!

Found another example of Waffen SS use of double breasted "Windjacke" coats.
Here shown issuance of a Polizei pattern "windjacke", which always came with silver pebbled buttons and lacked chest warmer pockets!
Note also SS buckle and sleeve eagle on M43 cap!
