              Robert.

Sorry, but the arm eagle is a reproduction.

That does not bode well for the rest of the tunic.

Soldat, our delightful trans-atlantic cousins refer to this style of repro as a 'bowling pin' eagle. I'm sure no offense was intended. Who did you buy the tunic from ? Perhaps after you've got your money back you might let us know ?

                      Sorry,Ian.

Yes I am aware of the fake, bought this more than two years ago before really searching this site and I did not really want to beleave it was fake but had my doubts since looking and learning from this site but thought and hoped I was wrong ,I think the dealer has a lifetime guarantee and is a well know London dealer beginning with R !

                          Rob,
Sorry to hear of your misfortune! I know a guy (not me) who bought a SS combat tunic from this R dealer in London. A year later he discovered it was a fake and when he went back to the dealer his words(the dealer) were (Well you bought it a year ago so if I took everything back that someone had a problem with two or three years down the road, I would have been out of business years ago) So much for lifetime guarentees.
I would strongly recommend you avoid this guy and I hope you fair better than he, Glenn,

Isn't this the same dealer who has a "no quibble" return policy?
                            Something's "fishy" here
