The rest of the insignia looks OK, I would like to see a picture though of the shoulder straps, I cannot pass any judgement on the award shield I am afraid as it well out of my area so maybe others better qualified can help.
I would like to mention a couple of things!
First before any other hints are given to who the seller is I would approach the seller and see how the lay of the land lies! As he is more than likely be in a better frame of mind to give you a refund, if you or others slag him off on the Internet and you might get nothing I am sure you know what I mean.
I Also say this because a fellow collector i know took one dealer to court over a fake woven badge, the badge was polyester yet he still lost the case which is unbelievable really, i (IMO) think one of the contributing factors to his loss was the exposing of the seller on the forums before the court case, this gave ammunition to the seller and no doubt it was used that the buyer had hidden agenda's and was out to discredit him (the seller), i do not know the full story as to why he lost the case as i have not (had the time) talked with the collector for a while.
the second thing is if the tunic is real and all the other insignia is real, would you send the whole tunic back for a full refund or ask for a refund on the market value of the eagle? i guess only you can decide really as i do not know what you paid for the tunic, if you want to disclose that you can send me a PM or post it here,
another thought popped into my head while i was typing this, and i would check the thread on the other insignia, (the collar patches) and if this is the same as the thread that has been used to attach the eagle then it would IMO indicate the tunic has been restored/put together and as such again IMO not worth as much as a totally untouched tunic,
cheers,
Gary

Robert,
What you have posted above (eagle) is an old fake eagle these were made in Austria allegedly by a wartime manufacturer, the example you have posted is the first type officers eagle which is woven in silver plated copper wire, later the pattern changed to one that used flat aluminium strips instead of round wire.
cheers,
Gary

Hi all
Does anyone know this dealer and can it be made public, it would help us all and stop us from making the same mistakes. I notice there is only an initial for the dealer and that does not help other people that may fall into his trap, if he is addressed to the forum then we can avoid him and throw bricks thre his window once a week to make up for the loss that people have experienced from buying his items.
