SS insignia opinions please

HI Guys

Would appreciate some input on these items- they all look good to me so hoping you think so too!

Will start with something interesting- yellow piped runic tab for motorised recon wrap? privately done but very interesting.

Also the boards- are thos early LAH cyphers? They are solid aluminium and have been painted gold at some time after being sewn to the boards. The boards appear to have been ripped from a tunic.

I can't coment on the M43 cap trap ...

but to me everything else looks ligit! ALL good! Congrats !!!!!
The added yellow piping on the tab is very ugly though...definately not an issued piece like that....its been altered...
Still a good tab in my opinion!

Thanks Nick! Yes the tab is most odd but appears to be unofficially period done- I could only find reference to runic tabs piped in Panzer pink.

Any ideas on the cyphers- I searched back through old threads and could find nothing on this style in metal?

Most looks nice. The tab with the yellow piping is original in itself. Hard to say when the piping was added though. BeVo trap looks fine too.

I would however have the LAH cyphers checked out by those who collects them. They seem not so sharp IMHO.

I am sure youll get further help with those.

The metal wire (IF it is metal wire) trapezoid is fake. It may just be very shiney grey of course.

Perhaps you could explain why the trap is fake. It looks like an original to me.

It appears on my monitor to be wire ... these weren't made in wire, I did explain that it may just be the very shiney grey which is fine.

The wire runic tab is very nice - and very interesting. I have never seen a tab modified quite like this.
