    if you have in hand, check these,maybe is just mothing or use, but why on the breast area?

    abt the sleeve eagle, it could be a fake shadow??

      Looking closer that the area where a breast eagle may have been in post 11, when I look directly above the button area and the flap seam I see what looks like the outline of a wreath and a lines extending outwards towards the sides that are the size of a wings. Maybe it is the image but it looks there may have been something there.

        Also that brick wall is the same back ground in both tunic pics. I too thought I could see the faint ghost of the bottom part of a breast eagle. If it's from an individual in NSW with the initials PC then run away FAST!

          The file name for the image also is "2010_1010M41andStug0001" so labeled together in a image file with the images for the wrapper. Not for me.

              I donĀ“t see a shadow from the eagle, and even if I did it do not necessarily make it a fake ss tunic, the M40 tunic was worn by both army and ss and might as well be a reissued ss tunic as the waffen ss was heavily expanding at that period.
