Chance to buy SS M40 tunic (Opinions)

Interesting, At first I liked it but now i notice its missing a feature on the lining maybe a retailored ...I wont make a call on it until some M40 experts weigh in. The Dagger slot is very crudely done as well.

Try to get close-ups of the collar where it is stitched to the body at the back of the neck area on both the inside and outside. Also images of where the Army Breast eagle would have been. The M40 eagles were hand sewn and sometimes can be removed without a trace. If the hanger slit is real it may have had a bullion Army eagle hand sewn as well which also often can be removed without seeing where it was especially in issues wools with nap.

I'm not one of the experts on tunics but the tabs look a lot longer then an SS tab.

Just my 2 cents.

If you have it in hand see if you can tell if the collar has been replaced. I see loose threads around the base of the collar on both the inside and outside. All the threads should match for the entire tunic seams etc. The eagle and the picture perfect stitch lines make me suspicious. In the other thread on the wrapper you indicated this was from the same "advanced collection".
