Ive seen this piece for sale, I was wondering if anyone here has knowledge as to if this could be fake or the real deal, if real how much is a fair price?

I have not seen many of these in the past but here is mine to compare to if you wish?? The paint on mine is cracking so to speak but is still remaining intact. If close up pics would help, just let me know!

I don't have one but I collect antique license plates and I don't like it based on the odd shaped numbers. Just an opinion for your info.

Is it not entirely possible that they made this with what they had at hand, i.e. its not implausable that they did use an upside down '9' to create the '6' which does not make it a fake necessarily. its definitly sloppy sprayed on with a self made Stencil..also the seals on both side are missing....it is aged to look rusty...better wait for a proper wartime plate.
