It's Michael's thread, he's counting, not me, I just made the quick reference as an idea to help, ie stop double counts

I don't know who ownes it, but if it's none of the 7 persons in your count you can probably count at least one more?
I cant access your provided link.
So...can not even peek at it.
Probably best if everyone provides a photo from now on to stay eternally trapped on the WAF matrix limbo, or it wont be too helpful for our thread.

caveat emptor
Lets be clear that I am not too comfortable with some of the candles shown.
You can all tell that some really look fresher and retain the integrity of original form as if there has been no stress from 50 years of weather changes.
Not saying I can PROVE anything is not kosher, and I can be a wrong as anyone else, BUT
they look a bit too new, AND I have been warned that there are now a few fakes out there...including the box.
So, just because they are shown here, is not meaning I am 100 percent comfortable with all of them.
Personally I am more comfortable with the candles that look and feel really old and have that (perhaps hard to replicate) 50 year natural destabilization of the color and greasy like aged sheen of certain candles.
As usual, I think a bit of extremely healthy suspicion is called for.

Might sound daft but give them a sniff I don't know how long it would take the volatile substances that give the beeswax honey smell to out gas but I find it hard to believe that an old candle would smell.
I put my nose to my JulKerze and I can't smell anything! I then tried a modern candle and it smells like honey. So, no science or fact here but if a Jul-kerze has some aroma all I can say is I'd certainly be suspicious.

I use 100% beeswax candles with no aroma additives, they give off the natural honey type smell so something out-gasses for a while, I'm just saying I doubt any old ones would smell as they have would have reached a more stable state.

Micheal, there is also a loose julcandle document for sale by Sebastian (WAF name Ojoneso) now, so you can also count that one (doc. only)

I still cant access that link .My computer keeps saying the page has changed.
Anyway, interesting photos.
First ..obviously wrong wrapping paper for the candle. Hope they make mention of that, if not then trust is diminishing.
Also I am suspicious of the address pasted on the box . I cant read the whole thing (that which is not ripped off) but the heading is easily readable and I have missgivings.
Can the address posted on the box be blown up bigger without loosing definition?

So I believe that doc was counted.
As you can see we have to be careful not to count anything twice.Last edited by Michael Fay; 12-19-2011, 04:53 PM.

Do you remember the name of the museum?
it would help to tie down this one for counting purposes.
As any one who has read this whole thread, you will see it is getting hard to not start adding up already noted documents and candles/boxes as a new addition to the count.
