    The engraving looks nice but in all likelihood this is just an old cup with a new fake engraving to add value to an ordinary and worthless piece of silver plate. Original unique items like this were generally presentation pieces, usually with a name and date.

      Yet another child born

      Here is the original source of these fantasy engravings, etc. The cup is yet another child born of this mother.

        The Himmler signature on the book above is a poor fake.

        But the bookplate itself is probably original.

        Mark Bando refers to this vet pickup on his website..................

                  Cup , no good.. there is a site that copied the bookplatea few years ago. It used to be on 40% of their 'authenic' 3rd reich books.. The site is famous for this type stuff and their rings...... Save your money

                        Yeah...........these guys are right. No doubt such type items exist, but in an avalanche of post-war embellished silver items, the odds are stacked heavily against you from the start. And how cool would it be to have that SS drum next to your Waffen-SS mannequin !! Now for the goblet, I didn't say I'd mind drinking a cold one out of it !! Buds and suds!!
