How did the piping look? Was it fuzzy or thick?
                      Any other red flags?

                          Visor

Though Allgemeine SS visors are not particularly rare, they are still expensive, so you'd be better off to look for a more standardized RZM version that raises NO questions. The chinstrap looks like a reproduction to me, but I'm not positive. I DON'T like the RZM stamp in the sweatband. Too many red flags on this one. There are enough All. SS visors out there to be picky. Personally, I'd look for a nice salty, beat up early one that says, "Been there!!"

                            Markings

Sorry - i just realized the ink stamps are on the chinstrap. Still don't like them. Also, the leather appears far too flexible. Perhaps the leather is just thinner, but most originals I've seen, the leather is pretty stiff from age.

I have been uncomfortable with it all along and so is everone else who has commented on it, so It will go back to the owner. I had it for a week to look over.

Thanks all for the help !
