    Hi.

    A friend of my have buy this Cap on Auction in USA...Let me now Your opinion about it. I dont like what I see, but He think that the cap is OK. Below is the auction text

    LEIBSTANDARTE SUMMER DRESS CAP - DACHAU Early white cloth visor cap named to "SS-Stubaf. F. Renner, Dachau". The hat with early insignia and bullion chin strap. White piping and black band to a field green edge. Makers label to the liner shows the maker to be "FREL" Berlin. Size 58. White doe skin sweat band. Some light staining over all, no moth. Generally very good

          Looks like complete garbage to me, hope he saves enough to invest it in a decent reference book.

          What does the pre-war Leibstandarte have to do with Dachau by the way ?
