That exact pattern ring has been widely reproduced for many years..
It is a well known 3rd reich time period produced ring.. Germany and other 'friendly' countries produced it. Even the Russian produced something close, but not exact..

Anyway, they are usually on US and German Ebay [both fakes and authentic]..

There are examples on this ring on the following sites when you search.

If your interested in 3rd Reich private purchase jewelry the following sites have dedicated areas for rings/jewelry for you to view and study...

,,,925 was used very early on / pre war. Rarely for mens military themed rings, especially after the war started..

If you'd like , try and make a clear shot of the markings in the band. Might be able to help as to pre or postwar.......

I think, without pics of teh stamp and the sidearms, we can´t tell you if it´s a fake or a real one.

finally got back to adding the inside marks

I never came back to read the rest of my own thread. I decided not to mess with the ring, but took shots of the other inside marks I described previously. So revisiting the thread is something I need to do on other threads I started , so here are the inside markings, one is 825 or possibly 925, and a small coffin shaped mark that appears to have a dogs head with a number to its left , just to the left of the silver mark. Maybe these markings can help on the ring.

Dog is looking down and top of its head parrell to the nine or 8 whichever it is, looks more like a nine to me, and number is to the left of the dogs head , sorry you have to turn your heads to see it. I can't make the # out . Sorry to revisit this, but less to read now at least for the less literate . hahah I think the mark would have showed up better if it hadn't been cleaned by the previous owner. (not me, but I suspect it musta been black) Thanks for any more comments now I have added the markings .
