    Have four different patterns of L.A.H. plates in this estate tried my best on photos but some better than others, opinions please. First is a "fish bone plate"

                        this is not LAH but HAL.

                        HAL means Hapag-Lloyd - that name is visable on your first porcelain bowl as well.

                        Has absolutely nothing to do with Leibstandarte and SS but everything with journeys on more or less luxurious ships from Europe to USA.

                            Excuse me for asking, but is this Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler or Hamburg-America-Line, the shipping concern? The letters H A P A G on either end of the fish bone plate may stand for "Hamburg Amerikanische Packetfahrt Actien Gesellschaft", and are now incorporated into HAPAG-LLOYD, the modern name of the company. Hope I'm dead wrong.

                            P.S. I was researching and typing and others said it first, so I am relieved.
