    Your dream SS item

    Fellow forum members,

Just wondering... If you could choose one SS item to get, regardless of price, what would it be? Just want to see what is on the top of your list...

I'll start: I would love a minty SS chained dagger, named, IDed, with capture papers and a pic of the owner.

    Maybe one day...

I already have it / them.

But if I had to pick one item I don't have, it would probably be Waldemar Riefkogl's visor.

He was Commander of 3./ 3. SS-Panzer Regiment "Totenkopf" and a Knights Cross holder. Died from his 9th wound in July 1944.

He must have been one tough fighter....

A SS-Soldbuch to a SS Tiger unit Tiger I or Tiger II crew member with a photo on the inside front cover of the soldier wearing a SS cut black panzer wrap.

Actually any SS-Soldbuch to any Panzer, StuG or Panzerjäger vehicle crew members with wrapper photos inside the front cover are dreams come true for me

Michael Wittman's camo wrap. I would also be 'satisfied' with Derk-Elsko Bruins' wrap. With cufftitle ofcourse.

Did Wittmann ever worn one? Have only see pics in black panzer uniform, or leather jacket.

I believe he is holding a rabbit in that photo, one of the very few that show him in camo. My dream piece would be either:

                          An unissued SS black wrapper
                          Unissued camo one piece Kombi

Now just finding them, and the money to acquire the pieces!

If I could choose: Untersturmführer Johan-Petter Balstad`s uniform (7./SS-Pz.Gr.Rgt 23 "Norge"). I wonder what happened to it...
