Any help on this one would be great. My father just bought it with a group of great stuff and we have never seen one like this. Thanks ,Rick B

At least that's a very early production piece.. That pattern [and like the others say its 100% fantasy] has been around since the 1960s.. Tooling made in England and the rings first sold here in the states.
For mass produced, commercially made for retail rings,,,Concerning fakes generally:
NEVER accept any ring with a RZM mark.
*Nor RZM codes.
*Nor any with the SS motto.
*Nor DRGM. {theoretically possible but so far none with the mark that had a excellent provenance}.
*Nor SS runes in band

SS Ring
I have one "exactly" like this from the early 50's. the Vet said he got it from a Hitler Youth from the Hitler Youth Division when the war ended. He had said he was in Austria at the time. I don't know why the Hitler youth were in Austria (?). The vet was not a collector, so I guess he was telling the truth...never thought much about it.

Ps: People say it's a fake...if it is... it's a very good one.
I've been around long enough to know everyone is an expert...Heheheheheh when it come to knowing for sure. On this one I know for sure—I'll just leave it at that folks.

Ring dies?
I remember seeing (sometime back) some dies that they found in Germany after the war that was on "Germania International" sales site... that showed this type SS designed ring was indeed a war time manufactured ring. I'[m not saying it was, just saying that the site had these (images) on talking about German made rings and such.

OK I found it...here is the link to the information on this SS designed
ring:
