ss honour ring / Totenkopfring + expertise

    hey guys,
here I want show you my SS honour Totenkopf Ring from Albert Adler , awarded 20.4.1937 .
Adler was born the 05.09.1909, NSDAP number 555 196
    and ss number 13956 .
See the three photos , in my opinion he is showed
    Untersturmführer and then Obersturmführer .

If someone has more information on this guys, I would really
    appreciate this

Unitil now, I only know that he took part in the "RIESENBERG-MORDE"
and was convicted in a trial in Braunschweig later .
Here a text, unfortunately only in german :
    http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rieseberg-Morde

And yes, the ring is worn and used from outside, but the
inside it really in good condition ,similar like this piece :

What kind of document or for lack of a better word proof that shows it is Albert's and not one of the other Adler's listed ? He is not shown having the ring in 1937 yet that is when he recieved it.

hmm I don´t know if I understand to 100% because of language, but :

The list shows that the was promoted to "Untersturmführer" in 20.4.1937 and the he have the ring + lebensborn there ( the signs on the document ) .

I got all stuff ( ring , expertise, 3 photos and the document info ) together , but if you have more information about any other Adlers or something, please tell me

yeah , its up for discussion of course .
The ring comes from the "best voted " militaria seller , Niemann :

It would be really amazing if the honour ring experts will find something wrong

I am a historian and like to see things in the right light. I am trying to figure out if there is anyway to find out who a ring belonged too without the award document. I do not think there is. Albert is listed in the 1937 SS SERVICE LIST he is shown promoted to untersturmfurher on 4/20/37 yet he does not have the ring.If they have time to put his promotion date in the 1937 I would guess the ring would also be listed. The promotion date is not always or may be not at all related to the ring date. Someone with the KEY and the 1936 SS Service list needs to look up Adam(3826),Albert(13956),Bendix,(11001)Kurt (266616)Adler and see who had the ring in 1936 which would eliminate the 1937 dated ring as being theirs. You might as well send the ring to Don Boyle for the final word on originality.

                          Send it to Don first.

Remember Detlev has made mistakes when it comes to certifying rings.
Don is the man to go. And your money will be worth it.

                            hey,
thank you so far . I tried a reasearch and I found this e-mail :
                            honorringman@webtv.net

                            Is it still actual ?

Does anybody else can see perhaps any red flags on the signature perhaps ?

                            Best wishes joe

                              Hello Joe,

                              that's Don's email

As a note, Detlev is not the "go to" guy to certify SS honor rings originality.
