              What a pity Markus!

You could ask to the seller to contact the buyer asking if he wants to exchange emails with you...

Then knowing you and your collection he could agree to take you in his mind in case he decides to sell it...not easy but you could have a chance...

In any case you can confort you with your beautiful panzer soldbuch...

              Roberto

Thanks for the close ups, always like seeing Pi material as reminds me of Hansen, Steinert, and other Bataillonskommandeure when pertaining to the "LAH." A hard unit to survive in.

Are the boots SS marked (and or VA or RZM?) on the soles and/or the inside top area?

                          Hi,
No SS marks on the boots only a name which is difficult to read ,would need a German's help? cap is VA marked both items came together in the original sales bag that the boots came in,found in a attic in Holland many years ago, both items belonged to the same man without a doubt ,just a pity that i can't read the name ,will take another photo.

                            Hi ,
                            He did not survive,
do you have examples of signatures of the above as they are many of his Co's on the letters etc that i do not know who they are?

Thanks for the response. Yes, the boots are very nice and show some of the same details of the SS/VA marked ones in that style.
