Not glass.......UV perspex, which is more expensive than glass!

Glass is a no-no as if it breaks your poster has a good chance of getting damaged.

Not to mention glass is heavier, which is a factor when getting the larger posters framed.

Thanks. I've never even heard of this. Hopefully the framing people will know how to order.

Are you framing the Post card ?

Also : not all framers are created equal. Most in my area will claim eveything is archival without any evidence to back it up.
And some will not offer certain glass/glass alternatives

I just put a deposit on this one, 14th Waffen Grenadier Division - Galizien!

Interesting for me as my wife's great grandfather I believe worked with this unit for a time.

This is an original of the Damsleth work you just posted Harm!

Your book doubles as a great paper-weight at the top to hold it down flat....

                          Hi,

already posted on #1142, and as some members said on this topic post war poster very likely.

Can you check your poster with a black light ? It may help us to confirm our opinion.

                          See You

It is most probably a post war fantasy Ralph.

The norwegian with the wikingship is really great artwork. One of the best made of Damsleth.

                                Agreed Vince,

If there was an original of this artwork I dare say this was it... The colour one just screams FAKE!!!

Even another post-war take on this...
