There have been numerous other discussions about these screen printed Mjolnor posters, other than the seller conveniently posted - and no I am not say he intentionally posted just that link, he may not be aware of the other threads with contrary opinions.

You could say that the jury is still out on these. Those that think that they are legit are usually those that have a copy themselves, which I guess is understandable for someone to not want to come to the realisation that what they have is a possible fake.

The one on that thread that was a definite original was the one M B CHISHOLM posted.....Which now resides in my collection (see below on right).

These are for comparison.....Front TonyS website.

The washed out screen printed versions are numerous have seen many of these for sale (40+) enough to be suspicious VS the other undisputed original which I have only seen 4 - 5 originals (including mine)...

Price difference ranges from 500 - 900 for the screen printed versions (when they should really be no more than $150) VS $3000+ for the original.

Again, the jury is out on these....its a case of take your chances if you are in the "I believe they are real" camp...

Here's a pic of the good DUTCH version, like i said already before in this topic a year or so ago, look at the right upper corner and you see at the wrong version the swastika is missing, and the colours are different. Also i,ve seen a lot of times the wrong version was not folded...:

            Another fake one for sale:

            http://www.germanmilitaria.com/Waffe...s/S011367.html

This version comes from a dutch book from 1946, and was never printed in such a small version...

Guys, is this font a wartime one?
                    Isn't that some Helvetica variation?

Yes, he looks a lot like him, I've noticed before.
BTW, we have at least 3 different writings on the red strip, have to say I don't like 2 of them...

I was just trying to learn.
Seems like a post-war font to me, I would like to know more about differences between Helvetica and wartime Helvetica-like fonts, since the earlier was made during the 50's.

No problem, it looks indeed post war, but is real!
