Would it be possible to get clear straight pictures? The photos now seem angled because the camera was too close. It would make more justice and easier to judge with good straight photos.
The shape of the runes looks ok so far from these photos and they are on top of a template. Im not too keen on the rank tab pips.

Better photos are needed to make a judgement IMO.

I assume the tabs are right, not the nicest one but that doesn't make them bad.

The rank pips are positioned incorrectly and there is not enough to twist them around and make them right. As sure as I write this someone will post 5 period photos of SS officers wearing them in this wrong position!!

Maybe a valid point maybe not, I cannot give the for sure answer.
Many photos (more then 5) are showing the pip positions all over the place aligned, for another example see M.Yerger GC in Gold V.I p.235 right hand side photo. You have to consider many questions to judge a collar tab pair, is it original is it war time upgraded or post war upgraded and ...

As for myself I think the rune tab might be OK. I dont like the look of the pips and the prongs. Short cut ones. Just doesnt look right. The positions of the pips on the tab "straight or not" does not worry me that much.
It might be that someone has found a blank officer tab and added a few pips post war to get a set.

As with most posts concerning W-SS uniforms/insignia details, this thread could on for pages. If I understand your concern above to be that you don't care for the domed shape of the pips and their lack of the longer corner points...like generally seen on Heer/ LW shoulder board rank pips...then I have to disagree as this style shown on this tab is what I most expect to see on SS tabs.

I'm not saying that I am in love with the detail of the strike on these and the metal looks a little different from most..at least in these photos but they may be ok. Probably either the silver wash is gone from the zinc base metal or they are just simply late war pot metal that was never coated...I don't really know.
