Please read Camouflage Uniforms of the Waffen-SS by Michael D. Beaver. An entire chapter is included there on the Leibermuster. The book display photographs of original Leibermuster samples from a US Army report (Richardson report). The pattern on your jacket is wrong! Not a little wrong. Completely wrong!
        You are talking about this?:

It's the most known and most produced type of Leibermuster..., NOT the only
        one!!

As a German you should know the terrible state your contry was in late 1944 and through 1945. It was not possible for several reasons to manufacture a uniform as you show and manufacturing had to be drasticly simplified. Less stitching, cheap buttons, low quality cloth etc.
This jacket ist drastically simplyfied..., even the back was made from two parts
"Verschnittstücke", because of the rare materials.

The jacket has only 4 Buttons...

        Its simplyfied in any way.

Revenge? You where the only one, that decleared that nice spring parka as a fake! We had it here some time ago:

              http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=275804

But what words did you (oh, no, not you, your "friend"! My mistake) use in the MFF a few days ago?:

"Die haben doch eh keinen Schimmer, diese Amis..."

"These Americans not have the foggiest idea"

You´re a shame for all serious German collectors...

Like in the other forum..., Mandani is not running out of arguments..., he never
                  had one...!!!

Any arguments against the jacket of my friend, except the one, that the pattern
not match (of course not...) the Leibermuster M45???

Isn't the correct name 'Leibermeister' instead of 'Leibermuster'?

Listen mate, settle down and don't take cheap shots at anyone on here.....after all, they're just clearing up some authenticity issues concerning your jacket (which is not original). You have hear from two separate forums regarding your jacket, with the same result, and you have accomplished in erking some of the most knowledgeable collectors in the field of SS camouflage, bravo. There's no need to take these differences in opinions any further, and I urge an members with common sense to just let this topic die before a mod has to lay the hand of internet justice upon it. Clearly, you disagree with everyone on here, and that's your right to do so. If you are happy with the jacket, then please display it proudly on a mannequin in your home, next to Hitler's moustache and Himmler's big toe nail. But, I have a strong feeling that you know this jacket is a pile of poop. Take care,

                      Alex

There are at least 3 Users in the other forum, that were declaring this jacket
                        as original.

The others don't have any argument about it beeing a fake, except the price.

                        Do you have an argument?

Do you know were the czech Leibermuster is came from?

                        You are talking BS..., sorry!

I'm only going to entertain this argument one last time. the tunic has green plastic US military buttons (found on USGI fatigues and camo uniforms for the past 40 years) sewn to the front. All wrong.....not pre 1945.....end of argument. You said this tunic was in a private collection for over 20 years, so how do you account for the buttons? There are other things wrong with the tunic, but this is just one example. I know you will undoubtedly respond with some stupidly irritating comment, so I will not state the point further. Cheers,

                            Alex

                              What i've "learned" here:

The jacket of my friend is a "fake" because:

Nobody knows a jacket like this...

                              2200 Bucks were "too cheap"...

The pattern don't matches the M45-Leibermuster...

                              The Buttons are US...

The Buttons are not US..., of course it don't matches the M45-pattern... and not
even one person here knows here anything about czech Leibermusters or versions
                              of SS-Leibermusters of any kind.

                              OMG...

                              Happy "collecting"...

                              Good bye!

Yes of course! It was you, your second account ("friend", sorry again) and... sorry I forgot who was the third one!

I´m out, goodbye you specialist! Have fun with your (friend´s) very uncommon Leibertarnjacket.
