Deutschland cuff

i got this with a first aid box, story goes the cuff was in a bandage bag.
Am I that lucky that is is a correct one ?????? Or is it just a great disapointment and a great first aid box ???

I think it passes muster. Not worn. Here is one from German Military Cuffbands 1884-Present by Gordon Williamson and Thomas McGuirl, 1998, page 188.
