Dat doet me echt pijn Bartje, 'k zal je nog eens mijn Wolfschanze laten zien....
Pieter.
....ge hebt ook alleen maar oog voor....
Pieter, please accept my humble apoligies . I was too overwhelmed with all kind of emotions when I was in your shrine . My tiny little brain couldn't handle it all, so it crashed... Next time I'll certainly notice it! I promise...
May I second all the replies, that is one beautiful addition to your document collection ... especially since it's from a volunteer from "'t stad" and such a thing in this time of the year! Imagine those hard and cold days the Flemish Volunteers had in the winter of 1944 ...
Pieter,
Nope, don't have the postcard ... didn't know there even existed one till today !!!! It's just because that alg. SS Vlaanderen stuff is so little documented ... if time permits, please show it on the forum! Do you know of any other Algemene SS Vlaanderen posters or postcards?
About time I visit the "Wolfschanze" one day in 2005 ...
of....heb je de les van de meester weer niet onthouden....
Pieter.
Is the Kepi of “le beau Leon” a Belgian made on or just ordinary German?? <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o></o>
Also, did the Walloons have to wear the badge on the right sleeve or the left?? <o></o>
Hoi Junior,
nice present, but if I could choose I take the original print. You can find them in Nijlen between €300 and €400. When you take 13 times €25 you got €325.
The only thing that's better on the reprint is that they aren't so heavy.
Olivier
I would also prefer the original issues ... just for the simple reason they are the originals ...
They are great reference works and let's not forget part 8, the large photographic album!
Kind regards
Geert
Hi everyone,
Yes,... IMO Geert and Oli are right... The original books are getting highly collectble themselves... You sometimes see the complete serie for sale on Ebay, but not too often anymore... And I think 300 to 400 euro is a good price for them. On the other hand it's good the books are being reprinted... Think of all the information you can find in them!!! Would be a pitty if the information wouldn't be accessible to collectors/historians...
Other question... Does anyone remember the TV-series "De Nieuwe Orde" (Maurice De Wilde) ??? I might get my hands on the complete series on video tape... Would like to burn them on VCD or DVD... Because I don't think VRT will ever play them on TV anymore... Not to mention it will ever be for sale at Free Record Shop... as it took 40 years before kapitein Zeppos was for sale on DVD... (And Zeppos isn't about war or collaboration...)
