Here's a negative from my collection showing a Flemish volunteer.
Check the buckle...

...it makes absolutely no sence to wear a political bucklel on a military uniform...another proof they wore wathever the could find and who would have noticed it behind the steering wheel...

I think lieutenant Herman Verreydt was 'Kringleider' of the 'LDWK' in 1944.

Flemish SS buckle

This Flemish SS buckle is part of a larger convolut which recently came from the owners family. I will post other pictures from the grouping in due course but for now wanted to share this rarely seen buckle.
