SS lot acquired from a Jewish war veteran (II)

Maybe things are working correctly now and my thread will post. I don't know what happened but the last one crapped out on us.

This lot came from an American Jewish war veteran who served with the 7th Army in WWII.

The SS items include a TK "pumpkin head" collar tab, an "S" raute for Transportation seargents, and an unteroffizier transportation shoulderboard. I don't know what the Skanderberg type helmet over the star is as I have never seen one. Is it possibly SS?

I am going to link this thread to other areas where the other items may find interest and discussion in those sections as well.

Of particular interest to me are the VERY unusually piped black tabs with the LW gulls and double pips. Anyone have any ideas ( http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=202716 )?

Very nice find. The tabs are actually for a Postman, accept the vet (or somebody else) added two Luft gulls to it.

I think that I will remove the gulls so that they will be as they should be.
