Passning no judgement on the wrapper in question, but I want to stress that if you follow your own words you will waste a lot of cash!

        wrapper,

        Hi guys,

I find it difficult to say from these pictures, but something tells me to be cautious. Look at pictures 6, 7 and 9: No wear or damage to the pulling-cord or buttonholes?? Is it a wrapper that has been worn for a verry short period??
I'm not saying it's a fake, but it would need a hands-on inspection....

If it's a original one, it's a damn good one!!!!

          Lorenz,
I am also worried about the size of the collar, looks too small to me as well. I have several tunics with brass neck hooks, they are steel on this one for sure. About the material of the wraper: it is fine and soft compared to WH tunics or WH wrapers I had my hands on. Traces of wear are well visible, close-up pics will be posted soon.

close up of buttons and thread
            close up of collar hook
open area under shoulder to show how buckram is sewn
lift collar to show difference in wear of material under collar and surrounding area
please show on back the color of thread compared to the color of wool

Posting for Bucatar . Sorry, 6 of the files were too large to upload and I will have to resize them and post later today as I've run out of time.

Thank you Richard for posting! . I'm not sure these pics will help, they are a bit blurry with this zoom. I'm hoping the rest will be better.
