[quote=craig a. thomas jr;1691988]It would be the Hohenstaufen or the Der Fuhrer.
That's a very classy looking display. I thought about buying some cuff titles once and had thought to display them exactly like this. However, I could never afford to buy them. Anyway, just wanted to compliment you on your displayInterested in candid/private Hitler, KIA, and Holocaust photos. Also any AH related memorabilia--silverware, linen, crystal, china...
All the best,
Chris

Damaged and Repaired Reichsfuhrer-SS
Charles,
Looking close at your Reichsfuhrer-SS, would you consider the umlauts square or round? I have handled several of the Round Umlaut versions and looking at the reverse on yours it is not the following standard "weave". If they are the square version you have a nice find.

Umlaute Detail
Hello Craig,
I took three more images of the area in question. One picture makes it looks like it has one round and one square. The second looks like they are square and the reverse looks square also.
The band material is quite expandable and make getting tight shots difficult. The object used to hold the band down was venier caliper case with the instrument inside.
Sincerely,
Charles BetzAttached Files

It would appear...
Charles you have one of the rarer versions of the RF-SS Bevo with the "square" Umlauts. Congradulations of a nice combat worn example. CraigLast edited by craig a. thomas jr; 11-18-2006, 07:41 PM.
