    All the best Merdock
The title of this thread was "...favorite SS cuff title..." There are as many different definitions as to what would cause an item to be a "favorite" as there are individual collectors.

I, for one, haven't the slightest interest in mint, unissued pieces, preferring, instead, items which have been worn. Others, prefer full-length titles, the mintier the better. Likewise, I place no particular personal value on simple rarity. I have no interest in some hard to find early Allgemeine title or one for some obscure training or administrative unit, preferring, instead, cuff titles belonging to units which were significant in terms of their place in history, which are more commonly found.

No one's preference is right or wrong or better than anyone else's; it is simply a matter of individual taste. I think your title is one of the best ones shown so far and certainly well "worthy of joining" this thread - one man's opinion.

Great Kovolut Chris! Was your friend also trapped in the Tcherkassy-Kessel? In which unit did he serve? I know quite some (Dutch) Wikingers as well, and I am always amazed to hear what they witnessed.

Thank you for posting these pictures!

      Cees

Anyway, back to the subject: my favorite cufftitle (the tresse are for marksmanship; no such badge available for SS). This is part of an intact, organic uniform. Frog.

Sorry to have found this thread so late - away on vacation. Does anyone else have any TK cufftitles to show?

                  Antiquefrog,
I realise this is a thread about cuffbands but do you have a complete shot of the tunic with the early heer shooting badges?

Hate to see this thread disappear so quickly, as there are certainly a lot more "favorite" cufftitles to see. So, here is one of mine, not necessarily my most favorite, but definitely an uncommon one...Tom
