Thank you both for your kind words. The wreath was sewn on by someone who did not consider that we would want to examine it forensically in the distant future. I have tried and I can't see in there at all. Here are outside and inside photos so you get an idea of why I can't tell. Sorry...as I would love to help.

there's a paul kaps army crusher for sale on a uk dealers site I noticed yesterday. MCB militaria, it is a gen staff with the sweatband in grey leather, real one looker.
