My first impression of the cap is that it's a parts cap. Heavily mothed cover but near mint interior and leather peak. If you're considering buying a cap like this, you should really know what to check for with it in hand. Photos can only tell you part of the story. Insignia look good IMO but don't let that influence your verdict of the cap itself.

I agree with Ben. To me it looks like an Heer cap with a little worn velvet cap band attatached later. The cap also looks like it still has cap spring/stiffener. Which is highly unlikely in a crusher. Jacques

the cap was never carried . everywhere moth-ate stronger .
it see not thereafter from that the cap was changed .

why their that believes the cap was changed ? .

the cap has the reinforcement .

I'am don't now. Also the reinforcement disturbs me .

Please tell me more .

Don't you think that black velvet band looks "fresh" compared to the condition of the rest of the cap.

I would certainly pass on it.
