    Dachau?

The better question would be "What was not made at Dachau?" They had an Angora Rabbit Farm, Spice Gardens....simply an endless list of endeavors. A mini operational City.

And don't forget, SS custom made swords by Paul Mueller.

Well, in addition to that Müller was hard working in the smithy to continue making them - among others - to be able to fulfill the long list of special wishes his new clients from overseas had.

In the aerial photograph posted by Charles the clothing works are numbered 32, 33 and 34.

For the SS a very efficient position - directly next to the main entrance and guardhouse of the camp.

This photo was taken 3 years ago looking along the wire from the Jourhaus (marked 3 on the recon photo) the BW would have been behind and on our left as we look down the wire.

The museum reception center is where the top right corner of the larger workshop once stood.

Building number 32 still exists! I've been there some years ago. It's now used as a garage. There's a big eagle wallpainting inside. With runes instead of the Swastika in the Oak leaf circle.

                  Kind regards

It must be beyond the modern wire to the left of the museum reception, there's a derelict-looking building there down an overgrown track ?

This is the location, or more accurately, was the location.

Now that is a very, very interesting picture!!

Where did you manage to find it?

Even the Allach porcelain manufactury is visable in the back!

It's a postcard issued after the war by the Dachau committee. To the best of my knowledge there is one other view that was issued.

Indeed, the porcelain works are visible in the shot.

Thank you for the great pic! If I find my pics of Dachau, I'll post them too.
In the actual Police barracks are still visible and interesting remains. Also runic details etc.
