Isn't this a character to avoid?

Received this email from Pawel Tomek that states:

    "Hello:

I have some German Insignia/Medals from WWI and WWII and a few German helmets from WWI and WWII in a good condition. I have also a few bayonets and swords for sale: japanese arisaka, and three french bayonets: Chassepot, Grass and Lebel. I also have a SS dagger. I would like to sell them for a reasonable price. I also have a japanese swords (katana and tanto) with the blade from XVIII century. If you could have an interest, let me know.

    Regards.

    Trident.Research@hotmail.com"

Isn't this the scam artist that has been sending emails to many collectors here on this forum?

      Hi Bob,

I get this email every couple of months as well. Seems to me if you do a Google search on this guys name you'll find out everything you need to know. There are likely threads on the forum(s) about him too.

I put him under JUNK MAIL so hopefully HOTMAIL will sort and delete further messages from him automatically. Thanks,

        Bob

The same scam was discussed on a thread here a few months ago in relation to the "Japanese swords" he claimed to possess - if I remember correctly, he could never provide additional pictures that were requested of him.

There's a thread on Community Collectors Forum called WARNING that Larson put up about this guy... if you get an email from this guy, merely exercise your DELETE key! Don't bother with him. Curiosity may hurt so just delete on sight.

                      Tenacious type from Poland...
Get yourself something to drink and read these:

Someone should pay him a visit with a blunt object and a firm rope...

                      Best Regards & Better Beware,

where do these guys find there targets and emails? if it's from these forums and don't they know that threads like this are started to warn collectors about them.

just wanted to say I think it's great that these threads are started and that other collectors here are looking out for us all.

maybe they should be put in a special category though as I have found them in several different sections over time.

keep up the good work guys.

                            regards
                            jim
