Dug this older thread up doing some research. Do any other members have close ups of good Schuma cap patches? Or how about bad ones (I didn't see any in the fake thread)?

Hi Sal, it is an abbreviation for "Schutzmannschaft".

          Cheers, Ade.

              Here is why I ask......

I got these at a local show over the weekend. I had no reference material with me and the seller allowed me take them home for inspection. Looking in my books I beleive, at this point, they are not good.

              Any comments?
              Jeff

                  Hi,

The photos ain't that good, but the insignia look fine to me. Especially the "twins" look similar to known originals. But photos not always tell the whole story.

                      Sonny,
These examples are bevo. The set of two are officer flatwire and the single is EM.

Jeff look at the reverse of Andy's and Adrian's cloth version (em), they are right as rain in my book. As you can see your's is different. As to the two bullion patches, the bullion would have to be similar to the sleeve patch one would think. I have only encountered repro's in the bullion officers hat patch, they are quite prevalent. I agree with you Sonny. I feel these examples in my possession are bougus.
