Yes! There was definately a droopy eye flatwire bevo skull....

When was this for sale on his website, because it is not there now?
There is much controversy with any skull having a droopy eye but i think there may be an enlisted droopy eye original also.

There is a much talked-about fake flatwire droopy-eye skull on an officer sidecap in the Wilkin's headgear book. The sidecap was sold to a collector by Bill Shea and somehow neither Shea nor his flunky Wilkins noticed the bad skull. After Wilkins published the book, the collector traded the cap to Peter V Lukacs. Peter recognized the skull immediately and restored the cap with an original flatwire skull.
Some ignorant collectors tried spreading rumours about Peter somehow alledging he was producing officer sidecaps, because people knew he was seeking a flatwire skull for the sidecap in the book.
So I find it hard to believe he did not recognize this as droopy eye and he may have known and stated such in the ad on his website.

Hello Jerry the cap was still for sale on his side a few moments before I started this thread
I also see Peter has removed the cap for sale

Yes Jerry IMO there are original droopy-eye skulls do have a look at this older thread

On the other hand its honest by PvL to remove the cap quickly and not to keep in the inventory.

Maybe he realised he made a mistake, but somewhat late.
