      here is a RZM M1/8 cap eagle,plated silver over a copper underlay.not sure what the base metal would be..repaired prongs and was mounted to a board before i got it..

            Real or fake ??

            I have an SS cap eagle two pronge to rear. Stamped RZM M1/40
            it came with an SS helmet and two other badges both had been sold and i did not aquire them.This cap badge was left in a box of junk....my question being fake or repro..

                                These are absurdly poor fakes. You could have simply entered that number into the search function to learn that that number is bogus. Likewise, I have yet to see any set of silver insignia which is accepted as original and, if such a set did ever exist, it would have been a privately commissioned set from a jeweler, which would never have had an SS or RZM contract number of a large manufacturer on it. Everything about this set is BAD!
