                          mais oui!

You're right to be impatient. They may be SS lange Hose, but I am unsure of this particular tag---it could be an excellent fake. There are so many fakes of these around, that I am very dubious of all of them. However, many details here with this piece are good. The Beaver books have many illustrations, and perhaps these are had in France. One can find them in Germany. One would have to examine them in person to see the black fabric, the tag, the entire issue. These also had the Steg, that is, the strap below the instep, actually. However, I think there is a chance they are real, but I frankly cannot tell. The Whammond site has a set on its site, that is, the Collector's Guild. If you are satisfied with the source, then we all celebrate your find. There are, however, excellent fakes of black SS regalia in Europe to a degree I had hitherto thought impossible, but I was quite wrong when actually confronted with the evidence myself; ergo, I am more skeptical than previous. Zum Schlusse, D5 = Handwerkliche und industrielle Herstellung-- Gross und Kleinverkauf eigener Erzeugnisse. That is, a firm with bespoke wares, as well as mass produced wares.

                            Hiiiiiiii.........

Many thanks for your reply Donald .I'm not an uniforms' collector and i don't know a lot of things about.Like i said i found the pants at the flea market yesterday morning. The only things i just can say with this pants is that the seller is not a collector, not a dealer and he know nothing about military items and when i found the pants he surely didn't knew if the pants were army issue , german, french or from an other country . Those pants were with civilian's cloths in a big bag.The seller wanted 30 euros for it but i kept it for 20 .From the source i think it's a good one but more opinions are welcome.

                              Very interesting

Thanks for the reply. All the best for the holidays, and viel Sammlerglueck in French. We do not fare as well with flea markets hereabouts, I am afraid. One thing you can exaime is the manner in which the white Paspel or Biese has been rendered. If the tailoring of this feature is sound, that is, of the quality of the early and mid-20th century, then the chances also go up. However, for 22 dollars, that's a good buy in any realm, really. We celebrate your skill and fortune.
