Hello friends,
thanks a lot for all the superb input.
I agree with BERGMEIR. BERGMEIN is not really a name, would be rather uncommon for a german last name, but Bergmeir is bavarian or austrian, which puts the photo in the right area.
For Your info, there are at least two other portraits of this man, which show him with the skull collar tab. As I mentioned before, dealing with this seller is always a bit difficult. I am trying to get the rest of the photos too but it needs a lot of persuasion and talking with this man. He sure knows how rare these shots are. When I met him yesterday he suddenly came to me and said that I can have the photo with the "K"-tab for my suggested price and I had to buy it immediately before he turns up his mind again.
I will meet him again next week and then I try to get the rest.
So this thread will hopefully be continued.
Wish me luck.
Kind regards
Robert

Bravo
Thanks to colleagues for the Sutterlin Panoptikum and to colleague Noss for finding this extraordinary image. We hope you secure the others so we may look at them. Your photographs are extraordinary. Was it you who found the album from the young chap in Oberbayern with the shots of Eicke and the anti-clerical touch as well? My mind is a jumble of images.

Hi Donald,
yes, that album is also in my collection.
I have now 8 albums from SS and Waffen-SS, 4 of them are with excellent and rare photos.
And I have about 2000 other photos from SS and Waffen-SS.
But as You all know, I am always looking for rare portraits and there are still gaps to fill.
Kind regards
Robert
