My tunic is missing the visor. One day hopefully! Here is my contribution. Taking my time with this one to resemble Wunsche. Still looking for a circa '37-'39 LAH officer CT and officer LAH cyphers.

Stangell, HH is proposing an old fake SS tuxedo badge for 20k, so this fake summer cap is a bargain.

Below you will find pictures of the Erich Kempka said summer cap, courtesy of Ulric Woodhams book "Allgemeine-SS 1933-1945".
You will also find close-up period pictures of SS-Standartenführer Karl Koch and a member of the SS-Reiterstandarte 7.

        See You

Nice pic of a Reiterstandarte 7 collar tab

        Merci!

When looking for LAH cyphers be very, very careful.

Me and some advanced (insignia) collector friends have not seen a single original LAH cypher for officers or NCOs on any (!) of the major dealers sites in months. It's completely crazy (and majorly disturbing)...

Thanks Markus, I agree, I think I have seen only one shoulder board featuring an NCO LAH.

Not even that (recent) one I'm afraid and to my great disappointment...

16.000 + 25%. So the buyer paid 20k.... My god.

Is there a recourse if the the buyer wishes to dispute the purchase as a repro?

Did anyone 'sum up' the flaws that are present on this visor that indicate it's a fake cap.

Presumably there's more than just the top isn't piped in silver wire...
