I realize that you persist in denigrating my cap. You are alone and in a position of inferiority compared to me. I have the cap in my hands.
You also give me the impression of wanting to influence the community of collectors who are like me, amazed by your attitude.
Look at a post BenVk wrote in 12/05/2015 about a SS crusher, and that applies perfectly to me.

    I quote :

It's curious how personal egos always surface when discussing potentially rare and valuable items but they tend to forget one crucial thing..

Nobody, not matter who they are, can be sure of their opinions of an item until they have it in their own hands.

That's the bottom line and always has been in my experience.

I don't see any problems with either of these caps based on the photos but that's about 50% of the evidence I need to authenticate a cap.

So, for that reason, I don't understand all the bickering and animosity between certain collectors here.

    They should know better IMO.

Turning this into a personal attack is just pathetic and a sad attempt to misdirect from your visor and your weak arguments. I will not be baited into a personal repost to you. This is it from me on this subject. J

Just ask Ben for an opinion on your cap, I assume and pretty sure I know his answer for your put together crusher cap.

With great pleasure. BenVk and other guys have seen this crusher. It was presented on this forum in December 2015. Unfortunately I can't find the thread.

I do not want to influence or compel anyone. I think BenVk has seen this thread countless times before. If he wants to answer, it's up to him to do so. Don't you think so?

Well, at least now everyone can read that the best Expert for Headgear i know say the exact same as Jacques & Co and what is far away from all original. Take his offer he made back in 2015 then, and find out what you have, there you go, easy and simple, and you will not find any better then him......

                                The answer to BenVk

Hi BenVk, it seems like it took you a long time to get into the discussion. It's very strange of you. Usually you are much faster.
Compared to your post from 2005, I quote:
"Some very sloppy stitching around the sweatband which I wouldn't expect with an erel which needs to be studied closely. The rest looks good from what I can see but a hands on is definitely needed with this one. I'd be happy to inspect the cap if you want to send it to London ".
You seem much more severe today, I quote:
"This crusher has numerous red flags IMO which I tried to point out back in 2015 but my offer to inspect it personally was never taken up so that was that".
There is a total contradiction between your 2 posts
In the first, there is just the sloppy stitching that bothers you.
And then you say: The rest looks good from what I can see
I'm going to show you what "Some very sloppy stitching around the sweatband" is. It has absolutely nothing to do with the authenticity of this crusher. I'll prove it easily.
And today, oddly enough, you say: "This crusher has numerous red flags".
It doesn't seem serious to you. You discredited yourself by saying everything and its opposite.
And I will finish by saying this:
If you were convinced that this crusher was a bad crap, you wouldn't have asked for it to be sent to you.
The photos of "sloppy stitching" will follow.
