Help me out here , I havn't added much to my collection for years and am a little out of the loop . A bowling pin ? the whole box of odds and sods only stood me at £5.00 a few years back so no tears but what should I be looking at ?

The middle eagle is known as the "bowling pin" fake, reason being that the eagle's body is the shape of a bowling pin.

Thank's , as I say it was part of a £5 lot . I'll probably lump it in with a copy of a Hitlerjugand cuff title I have and offer it to the re-enactor fraternity

          Hi Guys.
After a few months, my project is close to be completed.
Eventually I got a strip of Heer / Waffen SS pattern subdued tresse!! I never thought it would be so hard to find such a basic piece, but it has taken a daily check of a bunch of webs for a couple of months, putting wanted adverts, sending emails..
Eventually I found 1m in an American web I didn't know, and know it is on its way.

I have also purchased another pair of collar tabs, much more used that the pair I had and that I think will match better the tunic condition.
New tabs are also on their way from Stockholm.
Besides that, I am also making arrangements for purchasing another sleeve eagle, also tunic removed but without that small rip like the one I originally purchased.

Here are the tresse and tabs that will be used.
