For me it's a sport to obtain mine stuff for a decent price but in this case you can shake it if something has been widely discussed on a forum like WAF. It's not the first time that the price was inflicted negative for the new owner when a Ebay link was placed on a forum. What your question concern, yes of course i'm interested in the binocular and manual as well. What do you think will it be better in the future if we place only a photo instead of a link?

Many forums will not allow you to post active listings on their Forum. Thankfully Wehrmacht Awards is not one of them. 48RMC if you have a problem with this, take it to the moderators. Until the rules are changed, post away!!!!

I think that although comments have appeared rather harsh, 48RMC has a very valid point that the posting a link to an active eBay listing (or other online auction) will likely increase the exposure of the item, and hence could lead to an over-inflated price.
The only case where I feel that the posting of a link to an active auction is warranted are those instances where Forum participants are 'Whistle-blowing', and discussing the validity / originality of a particular piece, however the subsequent difficulties that we have seen in recent threads are those occasions where participants have a vested interest in the auction itself, and so a blanket rule to stop the posting of links to all active auctions would be counter to the benefits that the forum provides to its members.
Perhaps one solution to the problem might be if the Forum Moderators are able to enable an 'Alert' or 'Flag as Inappropriate Content' button to each posting, so that it would be easier for other partipants to raise concerns regarding the pasting of auction links or particularly contentious issues? Perhaps upon the clicking of such a button, then the 'Alerter' should be given an opportunity to state why he finds the subject / material objectionable in order for the moderator to make an informed decision.
If too-many 'Alerts' are raised against a particular thread, then the thread should be blocked from general view until a Moderator has made a decision to allow it to continue.
In the case of some Kriegsmarine optical equipment whose thread was 'moved' elsewhere recently, then it would have been useful for all potential readers to understand the reasons why the thread was moved, and whether this was due to the same reasons discussed above, a complaint, or perhaps a conflict of interest?
