    how can i see if a rabbitear is ww2 german? I want to buy one

          Er zit bij de meeste ww2 modellen een waterpasje verwerkt net in het onderste gedeelt, en dat is bij vooroorlogse zelden aanwezig.

                      hi Scheveningen,
                      the scherenfernrohr in the photos is a WW2 Russian 10x50. Prior to WW2 the Germans and Russians worked together and many of the Ru optics of this period are thus based on German models. The pic of the prism cover refers to 6000mils .This measure was used by the Russian and Finnish during this period whilst the Germans used a 6400 mil scale

                            This one appears to have a permanently mounted aiming circle attached to it as seen on e-bay with additional pictures. First time I seen one like this. An unusual configuration. can you please post these pictures of this attachement?

                              Hi Scheveningen,
                              can you post a few more pix of the Rabbits Ear upright tubes and top prism assemblies. The Russian tubes were not parallel but tapered towards the bottom ,and the Ru top prism assembly cases were also very distinctive.
