Srb & Stys 7x50 Dienstglas bmk Question

I'm a newbie at this.
Does "bmk" really stand for "black", "marine", "kriegsmarine"?
Or is this just an old wives tale.

I thought bmk meant made by Srb & Stys in Prague only.

Yesterday, a package arrived from the USA.

The weather was nice, so I thought I'm going on the road with binoculars to make some nice pictures.

3e model.

The binocular has never been opened, the view is very good! the once beautiful green color is transformed through many hands until a nice dark green color.
