The tunic is or was never mine but I wan't to learn what is wrong with the tunic.
It is not right just because of the scallop pockets?
Okay textbook are the straight pockets, but I saw a lot of original LW tunics with the scallop type.

The list of 'issues':

1. The shape of the collar;
2. The absence of a dagger hanger or provision for same;
3. The undersurface of the collar (fabric and stitching);
4. The colour of the lining;
5. The 'step' at the top of the front of the tunic;
6. The size of the French cuffs;

and, of course -

7. The scalloped pocket flaps.

All these together = Bundesluftwaffe tunic

Yes you're right about the most issues 1, 3, 4, 5 and 6.
And the jacket in question is Bundesluftwaffe, not something I want to have in my collection.

But the absence of a dagger hanger or provision is not a red flag for me. I have a Spiess 4 pocket tunic, officer style in my collection also without a dagger hanger or provision.

And the issue about the scalloped pocket flaps .
Also not a red flag for me, maybe they are slightly different in form then period scalloped pocket flaps.

You misunderstand the object of my post. One (possibly two) of the issues noted would not necessarily equate to a 'red flag'.
