              My quick guess would be a P-47. The image in post #4 is a pitot tube while the prop is for a four bladed model. The "shark fin" pitot tube was used on the P-47. The tube was located on the left wing out close to the wing tip.

              If not from the same crashed aircraft the prop could possibly be from a B-26. Also, the B-25 used a "shark fin" pitot tube as well. If war time or a few years after it would be a USAAF aircraft. The pieces is posts #1-#3 should be pretty heavy!

              Thanks Jeff, the prop relic is VERY heavy, I had to walk 2km with it in hand...

              These items are ww2, the vet was a "Reichsverteidigung" pilot. He told his wife after the war, that he collected these items from the planes he shot down.
              Unfortunately she didn`t find his documents and badges until now, but she is pretty sure they are somewhere there...
