Just thinking to be a Oberst early tunic shouldn´t we looking for better quality in the clothing?

Agree. I wouldn't have a problem with a lower rank officer but this is unrealistic.

There is no way he wasn't already an officer in 1935 when the piece is dated. Meaning it wouldn't have been issued to him ever.
