Some second opinions please on this LW tropical set on estand. THANKS!

I think that anything may have been possible in those six years of war- so why not a LW man with KM shorts. Would I display this as LW? - no.

I understand. I just think its interesting to contemplate what might have been. In the war, I am sure many items were shared between the services. For the purist though, a display of Luft items with KM clothing does not make much sense.

I will take the "set" back.
I'd like to say something:
got this set years ago from another collector, being not a LW cloth expert I took it as a pertinent set. Period pics show an incredible mixture of uniform items. So, not a purist LW tropical set maybe but a plausible Italian Front soldier indeed (would have an Officer here in the Adriatic Sea thrown the shorts away only because KM and not LW?). Price for the set, shown on Estand, was less then the single pieces being sold alone. I was contacted for the set, answered question, said I got as is from another collector, the set was handled, the buyer was happy and sold the set to the current owner...who was also happy. Til now.
Now 3 original pieces are not giving happiness anymore...
Some will say "that's not my problem"...

We will all work out a resolution that is fair and equitable for all of us, I agree with the Statement about the spirit of what you say regarding the LW officer wearing the KM shorts, I am sure that these items were worn interchangeably by everyone on each front....sometimes this hobby really gets a bit silly...nothing does change the fact though that a fake eagle ended up on the shirt at some point...and the shoulderboards were added as well...so to the die hard LW collector it is not a true wartime set....this bothers some people.
Just remember...I have not attacked you in any way...I just want to work this out.
