Another Fantastic Piece of Headgear

Here's another piece of headgear belonging to Bill Grist. I must say when Bill first told me about this piece I wasn't really that pumped up on it. I like all Third Reich headgear but for some reason I was picturing something like those white Luftwaffe fur caps..I must say when I handled this piece it made a overwhelming impression on me and have thought about it everyday since. I'll let the pictures do that talking and will let Bill add anything..

It does not show up to well but the 'T' is officer quality very small flat silver wire.. Has anyone else seen one of these mountian winter caps... wfg

I have never seen one of these before. Customs stuff is something I know only a bit about. Never seen this bevo eagle before. Can you tell me about the oakleaf badge.

I know very little except I beleive it is a version of a winter Mountian cap, with a Jager type of oakleaf tradition or special unit badge..I have no idea.. BILL
