I'd be happy with a worn one, but unfortunately their prices are insane since the last few years.
Saw one lately coming from a plane wreck without the strap and they wanted the price of a ss helmet, c'mon where's your brain ?
Pity this hobby went that far ..

How much does one cost over there? In the US the inventory has been controlled by one dealer who charges an absurd price. $4900 or something.

I don't think that one day somebody will be able to upgrade Harry's Beobachter's watch.

I actually has 2 boxed examples, one of which came off ebay..

... and Harry got two of it!!!!

The problem, i think is your up against watch collectors as well as military collectors, making them hard to get.
